New small-scale AD plant operational in Mumbai

The Yasasu Green AD plant, a joint project of the Pali Hill Residents Association (PHRA), the Brihanamumbais Municipal Corporation and technology provider Yasasu EMS, has started operations in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Located in Pali Hill in the suburb of Bandra, the facility cost INR 3 million (EUR 37,500), generates 170 to 180 kWh of energy and has a capacity of 1 tpd of waste per day, as reported by the Hindu Times.
