According to India Today, construction works for the controversial New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida) WtE project in Sector 123 have been stopped by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. As a consequence of strong public opposition, the Chief Minister decided that the project should be established at a different location, which would not be in a 2 km radius of a residential area.
