US start-up Novoloop has started construction of its chemical recycling pilot plant in India.

The plant is intended to demonstrate Novoloop’s so-called lifecycling technology, which reportedly is different from conventional depolymerisation and pyrolysis.

According to the report, the plant is expected to have a capacity of “70 tonnes by the end of 2024”. Operations are scheduled to start in Q1/2024 and be finalised by the end of 2024.
