Opening of Delhi Bawana WtE plant deferred again

According to a recent statement by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), the Delhi Bawana WtE plant will begin commercial operations by the end of December. Previously, the facility’s commissioning was scheduled for late November. As was reported by The Hindu, the project is developed by Ramky Group on behalf of the NDMC. As stated by earlier sources, treatment and generation capacities of the Bawana facility amount to 416,000 tpy and 24 MWel respectively.
