As was reported by The Hindu, the groundbreaking ceremony for a paddy straw biogas project in Karnal, Haryana, was held on 18 October. The plant should be completed by 2022 and will produce compressed biogas from about 40,000 tpy of paddy straw to produce up to 10 tpd of compressed biogas. It will be developed by Ajay Bio-Energy Pvt Ltd.
