Plans for new AD facility in New Delhi

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation has voted to construct a new biogas facility in the Najafgarh area in New Delhi. The plant should treat 150 tons of cattle waste and kitchen refuse per day, according to local news. The AD facility is planned to be built on an area of 2 acres. It will be realised under a BOT (build, operate and transfer) contract for the next 10 years with a renewal option of up to 5 years.
