Plans for new CBG project in Hoshiarpur

The Government of the state of Punjab is planning to develop a CBG plant in Baroti village, Hoshiarpur district. Plans provide for the plant to process 49,350 tpy of agricultural residues to produce 20 tpd of CBG. Around 40 acres had been earmarked for setting up the plant.

The plant should be operational by December 2023. Investment costs for the project are estimated to amount to INR 1.4 billion (EUR 15.85 million).
