PPAs approved for two WtE projects

The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) has approved two power purchase agreements (PPA) that had been signed between Accord Hydroair (Pikhuwa) Private Limited and Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) in April 2018. According to the PPAs, UPPCL will purchase the electricity generated from Accord Hydroair’s WtE projects in Pipalheda village (9 MW) and Phikuwa village (5.5 MW), in Uttar Pradesh, at a set tariff of INR 7.19 per kWh. This was reported by Mercom India.
