PPAs concluded with co-incinerator in Nagaland

The Nagaland District Energy and Finance Ministry has signed several power purchase agreements with companies in the solar, thermal, hydro and biomass power sectors.

Indian power company Fitzroy Energy & Minerals Ltd. signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the planned construction of a 27 MW thermal power plant in Tuli, Mokokchung District, as reported further.

According to earlier information, the plant should be fuelled with coal and locally sourced bamboo. According to the source, a further bioenergy project is being planned.
