Pune cooperates with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise

In order to handle its increasing waste management problem, the municipality of Pune has decided to start cooperating with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE). The company’s waste management includes minimising the volume of waste going to landfills by using incineration. The experts want to implement public-private partnership projects in order to pass on the risk of technology selection to the private contractor. Pune currently produces 1,600 metric tons of waste per day. This was reported by the Times of India.
