The proposed RDF plant in Pyaranagar, Telangana, is scheduled to be constructed and completed later in 2024.
Commissioning is expected for December 2024. However, according to the source, the project has not yet been contracted and is currently owned by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), the city administration of Hyderabad.
The plant is expected to generate 15 MW of energy by using RDF (from MSW) as feedstock, as already stated in previous sources from mid-2023.
