Recycling plant in Kozhikode remains closed

The INR 6.2 million West Hill plastic recycling plant in Kozhikode, Kerala, had to shut down temporarily due to difficulties in running the plant, according to The Times of India. People residing in the area of the facility as well as unanswered requests to the civic body, containing problem definition, forced the contractor K Ameer to shut down the plant before the end of contract in March 2016.
