The detailed project report (DPR) and an RfP report for the upgrade of a WtE plant in Dadumajra, Union territory, are now expected to be completed in January 2022, reports The Times of India.

In October 2021, the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation (MC) has provided INR 3.5 million (EUR 40,000) to IIT Ropar for conducting the reports. The DPR must include details on the plant’s social impact as well as a technical and financial assessment. After finalisation of both reports, the MC will float tenders and allot the work.
