Chemical company Sabic has signed an LoI with Indian plastics recycler Pashupati Group. The LoI reportedly aims to develop plastic recycling opportunities in India.

As part of the agreement, Pashupati is to provide its mechanical and chemical processing expertise for used plastics, while Sabic should focus on the marketing and distribution of recycled products.

According to the source, the LoI includes a recycling project for converting plastic waste into pyrolysis oil, which Sabic is supposed to use for producing new polymers.
