The Supreme Court has directed the Railway Department as well as the municipal corporations to take appropriate action against the piling of waste along railway tracks in Delhi and submit an action plan.
The apex court warned that if the action plan was not submitted within the stipulated time, action would be taken against the concerned authorities.
The next hearing of the matter is listed for early August.
