Shahanshahpur biogas plant to go online soon

The new biogas plant currently under construction in the village of Shahanshahpur, Varanasi District, Uttar Pradesh, should start operations by the end of October, as reported recently.

About 90% of the work has so far been completed, as further stated. The plant was established by infrastructure and energy group Adani at a cost of INR 300 million (EUR 3.4 million) and, once operational, should process cow dung and kitchen waste to produce bio-CNG.
