Steel recycling plant to be built in Rohtak

Tata Steel is planning to build a steel recycling plant in Rohtak, Haryana, with an annual processing capacity of about 500,000 tonnes, costing INR 48 crores. According to Recycling International, Tata Steel expects the plant to be operational in the second half of the current fiscal year. According to the source, the plant will be India’s first steel recycling plant. Tata Steel also revealed plans to build more steel recycling facilities throughout India.
