Survey on state´s waste planned

The federal state of Kerala plans to conduct a waste survey between August 6 and 13, 2017 with the aim of using the data generated in planning projects on waste management. According to The News Minute, the survey will take stock of waste generated from every unit, household, offices and business firms in the state. The survey will also include details about biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste and look into the existing waste management systems.
