Telangana to set up biogas, biomanure plants

Telangana is planning to set up biogas and biomanure plants in Karimnagar and Warangal soon. Each of the plants will reportedly process 10 tonnes of vegetables, fruit, and flower waste and will cost approximately Rs 5 cr.

Both, Karimnagar and Warangal, are part of the smart cities project.

These plants would be set up in coordination with IICT scientists under the Smart Cities programme, reports Telangana Today.
