Tender for Deonar WtE plant set to start

According to the Brihanmumbai Corporation (BMC), the tender process for the planned Mumbai Deonar WtE plant is to start in the last week of October. As reported by the Indian Express, a feasibility study for the INR 10 billion (USD 150 million) was conducted earlier this year by Tata Consulting Engineers. According to earlier sources, the facility is planned to have a treatment capacity of 3,000 tpd, generating 30 MWel.
