Tender initiated for RDF incineration project in Bidadi

The Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL) has initiated the tendering process to construct a RDF incineration plant in Bidadi. According to dailyhunt, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and KPCL signed a memorandum of understanding on 1 January to supply RDF to the KPCL Bidadi site. With project costs estimated between INR 70-100 crores, the 5 MW plant capable of processing 100 tpd of residual waste may be operational by the summer of 2019.
