The Coimbatore Municipal Corporation has issued a tender for the planned biogas project at the Vellalore landfill in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
INR 600 million (EUR 6.61 million) have been allocated to the project. Construction is expected to start in the coming months. According to the source, an MRF and a project to mine landfilled biowaste are also planned at the site.
