Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thermax has signed a know-how transfer and license agreement with Steinmuller Babcock Environment GmbH (SBE), Germany for Waste to Energy technology, reports Business Standard.
As a part of the agreement, TBWES will design, engineer, manufacture, and sell Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) fired waste to energy solutions incorporating SBE’s grate and boiler technology. Prior to this, in 2017, Thermax had commissioned one of India’s largest plants that generate power from cement waste heat at Rajasthan.
