Thermax partners with Steinmuller Babcock Environment for WtE solutions

Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thermax has signed a know-how transfer and license agreement with Steinmuller Babcock Environment GmbH (SBE), Germany for Waste to Energy technology, reports Business Standard.

As a part of the agreement, TBWES will design, engineer, manufacture, and sell Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) fired waste to energy solutions incorporating SBE’s grate and boiler technology. Prior to this, in 2017, Thermax had commissioned one of India’s largest plants that generate power from cement waste heat at Rajasthan. Thermax also had a technology transfer agreement with Lambion to generate energy from waste. Please visit the company’s official website for more information.
