TruAlt and GAIL form new CBG joint venture

Public gas company GAIL India Limited and TruAlt Bioenergy have formed a JV called Leafinity Bioenergy Limited to set up 10 CBG plants in India.

The companies invested a total of USD 72 million (EUR 65.81 million) into the JV, of which TruAlt holds 51% and GAIL 49%. Each of the plants should process 10 tpd of organic waste to produce 100 tpy of CBG. The source did not provide any further information on the location of the plants.
