Two proposed WtE plants to be approved soon

According to the Chief Minister of Karnataka, the state government is planning to establish Waste-to-Energy units in all the six municipal solid waste processing plants in the state. He emphasised on the use of WtE as the preferred method for solving Bengaluru’s garbage problem. Furthermore, he stated that the government will soon approve two proposals received to set up Waste-to-Energy plants in the state, reports the Deccan Chronicle.
