Update on Bhubaneswar WtE project

A decision on the controversial WtE project in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, seems to be reached very soon as the government has announced a public hearing on 6 June. Former protests against the project were declined by Orissa High Court and the National Green Tribunal. The meeting on 6 June will be conducted by the Odisha State Pollution Control Board. The plant should have a capacity of 192,000 tpy and generate 11 MWel. This was reported by Telegraph India.
