Update on Noida WtE project

The New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida) officials have announced that KPMG has been hired as a consultant towards seeking an environmental clearance (EC) for its proposed waste-to-energy plant in Noida, Northern India. According to the Hindustan Times, the proposed plant should be situated at Sector 123 despite facing opposition with location. The Noida officials are currently selecting an agency for the collection of waste and to start running the waste-to-energy plant by June 2018.
