Update on two Mysuru waste plants

The two MSW treatment and recycling plants in Kesare and Rayanakere, located in Mysuru (Mysore), Karnataka, have not made any further progress since late 2020, reports Star of Mysore.

According to a the source, the tenders were already completed and financial bids were secured as well. Work orders are said to be issued soon. However, this was already announced in late 2020.

The Kesare plant should have a capacity of processing and recycling 200 tpd and the Rayanakere plant should treat 150 tpd. As stated in December 2021, building works were due to start by early or mid-January 2021. The plants were initially announced in 2015 and are expected to start operations within 1 year of construction.
