Due to a high level of objection and a rap from the judiciary, the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) now has to make alternate arrangements for shifting its solid waste management plant from the village of Dhavgi in Uttan. This was reported by the Free Press Journal. According to the civic administration, plans to construct a WtE plant were also been rejected due to a missing land allotment.
