Editor The 700 tpd WtE project in Patna, Bihar, will be delayed. In 2014, the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCO) awarded the contract for the project to company Sunil Hitech Engineers Ltd (SHE). However, it took a year to resolve a conflict about an approach road between the developing company and the Patna Municipal Corporation, which has the jurisdiction for the construction ground. Furthermore, it was reported that SHE has not yet begun construction works. As reported by The Times of India, an official threatened the company with contract termination if works do not speed up.
