Waste recycling park in Madhugiri may include WtE

The state government of Karnataka has proposed to set up a waste and recycling park near Madhugiri, Tumakuru District. As stated by an city official of Bengaluru, Karnataka’s state capital, the site would include a WtE plant to be built on the lines of a facility in Seoul, South Korea. The construction ground is planned to be acquired through the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB). Karnataka’s government furthermore plans to meet with several companies proposing other WtE projects in the state on 5 June. This was reported by The Hindu.
