Editor A WtE project is apparently underway in Vasai-Virar, Maharashtra. In a media report, the Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation (VVMC) was said to be executing the last steps of putting online a Waste-to-Energy plant. However, the source, The Free Press Journal, does not give any further information on this project. VVMC was recently asked by the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) to provide assistance in the latter’s waste disposal problems.
