Editor A recently released Detailed Project Report (DPR) on waste management by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) also includes a scheme for WtE implementation. According to the plans, a 11.5 MW plant is proposed to be set up adjacent to RMC’s Jhiri landfill. Project developer is Essel Infraprojects (EIP). According to an EIP official, the plant has not yet been approved by the RMC board. This was reported by Daily Pioneer.
