WtE plant in Gurugram facing problems

According to The Times of India, the Solid Waste Management Project in Gurugam, Haryana, which should have a capacity of 100 MWel and will cost around INR 4.3 billion (EUR 55 million) is facing problems. The household waste which should be segregated before it gets to the treatment plant is mostly mixed, and the pick-up is irregular. The WtE plant, which should become operational by 2019, will take an additional year-and-a-half to be completed.
