WtE plant proposed for Indore municipality

Canadian company Auto Thermic Gasification Solution Ltd. has proposed to set up a WtE facility on a private-public partnership basis at the Devguradia trenching ground in the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. According to company officials, ten units will be built at the 10-acre site so that they could be maintained on a revolving basis on days with lesser waste generation. The company claims it could convert up to 60 % of the 1,200 tpy of waste generated in the city into energy. The report by The Hindustan Times does not give any information on the investment sum of the project.
