Editor According to the Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC), its plans for WtE implementation will be delayed by several months. AMC has chosen consortium Spaak Bresson (SB) to develop a 10 MW facility, but it was said that no formal contract will be signed until the project has received clearance by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB). SB was furthermore said to be currently applying for selling electricity to Uttar Pradesh’s state energy department. As was reported by The Times of India, the WtE plant is planned to be set up near the Kuberpur dumpsite.
