Amara Raja Batteries to build new battery recycling plant

India-based battery manufacturer Amara Raja Batteries Ltd plans to incorporate a subsidiary called Amara Raja Circular Solutions. Amara Raja Batteries also plans to set up a battery recycling plant through the subsidiary, as further stated in the report.

The new entity is due to focus on recycling of batteries, plastics, non-ferrous metals and industrial scrap generated in the battery manufacturing process. The subsidiary will be fully owned by Amara Raja Batteries and will focus its activities on India.
