AMC plans biomethane plant in Agra

Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) is planning to build a bio-CNG plant in Agra, to solve the issue of the city’s drains getting clogged with cattle dung, as The Times of India reported. Feedstock for the plant could be supplied by 55,000 cows and buffalos in the city. AMC is currently looking for private partners for the project and will start the tendering process soon.
