FMCG direct selling company, Amway India, has managed 100% of post-consumer plastic waste based on its Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) collection and recycled 100% of pre-consumer plastic waste produced at the Amway manufacturing facility. Through this effort, the company has become “Pre- and Post-Consumer Plastic Waste Neutral.”

800 metric tonnes of post-consumer plastic trash have been collected and recycled by the company, which is the equivalent of managing over 50 million units of garbage from plastic products such as bottles, tubes, caps, jars, and sachets of various sizes. It has also recycled and repurposed 100% of hazardous products and plastic waste at its manufacturing facility, reports Covaipost.
