According to The Print, statutory advisory body Animal Welfare Board of India is developing a scheme, which includes, apart from new animal protection guideline, especially for cows, also a guideline for cow shelters to also include AD plants to process the manure. Districts with lands exceeding 100 acres of grazing areas should receive a subsidy of INR 1 million (EUR 12,400).
