Another four WtE facilities planned in Delhi

According to The Times of India, Delhi is currently planning the construction of four more WtE facilities. Two projects have been proposed by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation at Narela-Bawana and Bhalswa. These facilities will be able to process around 4,500 tpd of waste to generate electricity. In addition, the South Corporation is planning to set up a 15 MW plant at Tehkhand. At the upcoming 50 MW facility at Ghazipur, plasma gasification technology will be used. The East Delhi Municipal Corporation has signed a MoU with Singapore-based company AG Dauters.
