Banas Dairy to build 4 biogas plants in Banaskantha

Palanpur-based Banas Dairy is planning to build four biogas plants at its site in Banaskantha District, Gujarat, to generate 2,000 cm³ of biogas. According to The Times of India, the total cost for the project is INR 32 crores and construction will commence in March, 2019. The plants will be supplied with about 160 tonnes of cattle manure, which will be delivered daily by local farmers.
