BBMP seeks proposals for C&D waste facility

Civic body Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued a request for proposals for the development of three construction and demolition (C&D) waste recycling facilities in the outskirts of Bangalore, Karnataka. Each plant should have a treatment capacity of 750 tpd and be developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) scheme. The recycling plants are planned to be located in three abandoned quarry areas in Kannur, Mallasandra and Anjanapura. Each site is supposed to be handed over to BBMP after 20 years of operation.
