The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) will issue a tender notice for waste-to-CNG plants in the city soon. The civic body intends to build two such plants, each with a capacity of 500 tonnes per day. However, BBMP officials have now stated that the direct selection method was later rejected by higher-ups. However, the direct selection method was rejected and the BBMP is going ahead with tendering.
Tenders will be issued shortly, and the successful bidder will be awarded the contract,” said reports The Bangalore Mirror.
