In preparation for the Hockey Men’s World Cup 2018, the City of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, is undertaking several works on infrastructure, including waste disposal. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced plans to build a 40,000 tpy biogas plant. According to The New Indian Express, BMC is close to selecting the site for the project.
