Editor After facing an undue delay already, Bhuasuni’s Municipal Solid Waste facility has to deal with another problem, the New Indian Express reports.. The plant should treat biodegradable, combustible and recyclable content of the solid waste. To do so, the waste has to be sorted in advance; however, the municipal corporations of Bhubaneswar have not promoted any waste sorting yet. As a result, the project has to be rethought. Municipal corporations have not taken steps to ensure segregation of waste either at source or temporary transit stations or the dumping yard. What this means regard time, costs and likelihood of the project remains open.
