Biogas as a substitute for LPG

An Indian Government official has recently stated that the development of biogas and biogas upgrading units to substitute LPG should be brought into focus, which is expected to affect urban areas in particular. India’s energy demand has seen a significant increase over the last decade. Therefore, it would be crucial to develop alternative ways to produce energy. Almost 25% of India’s total energy consumption comes from biomass currently. This was reported by The New India Express
