Delhi Metro receives power from Ghazipur WtE plant

The Daily Pioneer reports that Delhi Metro has announced to have started receiving 2 MWel from the 12 MW WtE plant located in Ghazipur, from June 2019. The RDF-fired plant, set up by East Delhi Waste Processing Company Limited (EDWPCL) operational since 2016, has a capacity to process 416,000 tonnes of waste annually.
