A biogas plant in the municipality of Kalpetta, Kerala, was inaugurated on 14 August 2022. The plant is reportedly located at a 15,000-square feet area on 9 acres of land in Vellaramkunnu.
The investment has entailed INR 12.8 million (EUR 157,982). The project developed under the so-called Clean Kalpetta project was built by Palakkad, Kerala-based Integrated Rural Technology Centre. However, the report does not provide further details on the facility.
